The International Society of Colo-Proctology (ISCP) is a society of like-minded surgeons practicing colorectal surgery which was formed on 21st October 2012 at Jaipur under the able leadership & guidance of Dr. S. D. Chivate, Dr. Dinesh Jindel, Dr. J. C. Baid, Dr. Pradeep Sharma, with Dr. S. D. Chivate as the President and Dr. Dinesh Shah as Honorary Secretary. This was an organization of surgeons to promote and spread the advancement of Colorectal Surgery throughout India and beyond initially, though the number of members were almost negligible, but due to continuous hard work and transparency, the numbers grew to a very large number. Now covering the entire country, today it has become a force to rec-on with spear heading the vast experiences and knowledge each member has acquired in his own field, to ultimately share the same with fellow surgeons.
